  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (plus 3 tbsp for rolling)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for rolling.
