  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Naan bread
  • Steamed rice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and diced onion until translucent.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and brown for about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, and additional salt; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Gradually add heavy cream while stirring; allow to thicken.
  6. Finish with garam masala and optional cayenne pepper; adjust seasoning as needed.
