Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt; mix until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1.5 hours or until doubled.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down dough and shape it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
