  • 1 to 2 cups Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Onion rings, green onions, and crumbled bacon for toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown 1/2 pound of ground beef in a large pot until no longer pink; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté diced carrots, celery, and onion in 1 tablespoon butter until tender.
