  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for one minute. Pour in heavy cream and stir until thickened.
  4. Add sliced chicken and drained pasta back into the skillet; toss gently in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with extra Italian seasoning or freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
