  • 10 crushed Oreo cookies (plus additional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a zip lock bag, crush the Oreos until finely crushed; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the room-temperature butter and sugar until fluffy (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until thoroughly combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in crushed Oreos until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  8. Scoop dough (about 3 tablespoons) onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Top each dough ball with extra crushed Oreos before baking.
  10. Bake for about 11 minutes or until edges are golden but center remains soft.
