Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. For filling, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Spread half the dough on parchment paper; sprinkle with filling and roll tightly.
  8. Slice into rounds about ¾ inch thick and place on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
