  • 12 tbsp unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 1/8 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Scoop Nutella onto a parchment-lined tray and freeze until solid (20-30 minutes).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for about one minute.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt until almost combined; then add chocolate chips.
  5. Chill the dough mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Scoop dough, flatten slightly, place frozen Nutella in the center, seal it up, and roll into balls.
