  • 1 1/2 lb Springer mountain farms chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add shallots and additional seasonings. Stir and simmer briefly.
  5. Add flour to create a roux, then pour in chicken broth and heavy cream while whisking until smooth.
  6. Mix in shredded parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  8. Slice the chicken and mix it back into the pasta before serving.
