  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 14 butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 can water chestnuts (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the butter lettuce leaves; set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned (about 7 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  3. Add chopped red bell pepper and water chestnuts to the skillet; cook until tender (about 3 minutes).
  4. Stir in coconut aminos and seasonings; heat through for another 3 minutes.
  5. Assemble wraps by spooning the beef mixture into each lettuce leaf and garnish with cashews and green onions.
